ALUMINUM
TRACELINE PIPE FITTINGS
|
| Modern
piping systems that combine tracing with the product
section in one standard size pipe are ideal for handling
low viscosity materials such as resins, fuel oil, asphalt,
glycols, urea and any more. |
Traceline
aluminum fittings are designed for use with integrally
traced pipe including Reynold's Duplex Pipe and Alcoa's
Unitrace Tube. These fittings with the build-in trace,
are available from Latrobe Foundry through your local
distributor. |

300-SE WELDING NECK FLANGE
The flange dimensions conform to A.S.A. B 16.5
1957.
The port on the flange is round to reduce turbulence.
Included in the length dimension is a 2-1/2" straight
section, cut back 1" for welding product line and
to accommodate Traceline Sole Plate No. 20 to close
steam trace section. Stud length below permit the use
of flat washers under nuts to eliminate galling back
of flange. These studs, washers, and nuts should be
cadium plated. |

400-AF WELDING NECK ADAPTER FLANGE
The flange dimensions conform to A.S.A. B 16.5
- 1957 and are the next size larger than standard for
the nominal size integral trace aluminum pipe or fittings
to match steam jacketed valves or pumps. The port on
the flange is round to reduce turbulence. Included in
the length dimension is a 2-1/2" straight section,
cut back 1" for welding product line and to accommodate
Traceline Sole Plate No. 20. |

20 SOLE PLATE
Used to close a trace section, sole plates are
4" long. With 1" cut back on fittings and
pipe sections, this provides 1" overlap. A relief
is provided on the sole plate to fit over the product
section weld. A quantity of sole plates sufficient to
join fittings to pipe are shipped "No Charge"
with each fitting. Sole plates required to join sections
of pipe should be ordered giving nominal pipe size (1,
1-1/2, 2, 3, 4 inches).
